In the 1940s, this trick appeared for the first time - and disappeared into the sinking again after a while. A brilliant effect, but an extensive production and an extremely uncertain function.
Our dear magic friend Max Matheis alias Doctor Marrax, a lot of decorated professional and multiple award winners, discovered a copy on a flea market years ago. Since then he has celebrated great success in front of countless spectators over the years and was also placed in competitions with this trick.
But one thing remained: the function was so critical that sometimes the "magic sheet" had to help to free the audience a clamping cube unnoticed!
What do the audience see? The magician presents four dice of different sizes, as well as a tube and two lids.
The four cubes - black with white dots - are individually removed from the tube and shown. Then the magician builds the cubes into a cube pyramid. Logically the biggest down, the next smaller one on it, etc.
This cube pyramid is covered with the tube, then the tube is closed. The arrow -shaped decoration on all four sides shows the spectators where the tip of the pyramid is located.
In keeping with the lecture, the tube is initially turned over five times. As a result, the smallest cube comes down, the pyramid is head, which also clearly shows the arrow tip on the tube!
If the tube is removed, the pyramid, statically perfect, is correct again. The biggest cube below, the smallest above.
Did the magician cleverly distract the spectators? The tube, with the arrowhead, is given over the pyramid, closed and now turned three times. Again, the pyramid on the head or with the smallest cube should be down - the tip of the decoration shows at least in this direction.
The magician pulls the tube off, the pyramid is perfectly aligned and with the largest cube down on the table. How is something like this possible?
The cubes can impossible to sort in the tube, the tube is far too narrow.
In addition, the tube is shown empty again and again at the beginning and in between.
Has anyone in the audience say that the magician should only turn the tube once? The deception artist claims that, if he wanted, he could only think about whether he wants to! But with such a nice audience, such a day would be today when he would like to do that.
So the pyramid is covered with the tube again and only once and completely turned without a steering maneuver or similar. Now it is definitely clear: the pyramid is upside down, the smallest cube must be below. The whole structure probably even falls over after pulling out the tube, since it is static unstable with the large cube at the top.
The tension increases, the tube is pulled off - and the cubes are on the table in the correct order. The largest cube below, the smallest cube above. But not only that: the cubes have also colored themselves. The bottom is green, the next blue, the third red. Only the smallest is still black and white, as a memory of how everything was at the beginning.
If you want, you can now repeat the effect with the colored dice.
You will receive everything from us in a modern version of default -free plastic.
All weaknesses of earlier versions have been eliminated, the function is sensationally good.
The cube pyramid cannot slip or tip over after structure, since the individual cubes are kept together magnetically, but can still be easily loosened if necessary.
To do this, you will receive the demonstration of Doctor Marrax on DVD, recorded in the renowned Prater Varieté in Vienna, a detailed explanation and free of charge, Charly's success lecture!
Even if you may believe that a cube pyramid that rotates three or four times is not a magical sensation - the reactions from the audience will also convince and inspire them.
You will be enthusiastic about the perfect and elaborate workmanship if you hold your copy in your hands!
Size of the large cube approx. 10 x 10 cm, height of the tube approx. 29.5 cm.
