Ein Zauberer zieht an einem gelben Gummiband und reißt einen Teil davon ab, sodass ein kleines, rundes Gummiband entsteht. Das verbleibende gelbe Gummiband sieht aus wie ein Keks, aus dem ein Stück herausgebissen wurde, sodass ein halbmondförmiges Gummiband entsteht. Alles kann untersucht werden! Dann nimmt der Zauberer ein rotes Gummiband heraus, holt das gelbe kreisförmige Minigummiband aus dem Publikum und lässt es auf das rote Gummiband fallen. Das gelbe und das rote Gummiband verschmelzen miteinander und bilden ein komplettes zweifarbiges Gummiband.
Du kannst den Halbmond-Gummiband-Effekt auch separat nach anderen Gummiband-Zaubertricks vorführen. Sag scherzhaft zum Publikum: „Eigentlich wollte ich euch ein ganzes Gummiband als Souvenir schenken, aber vielleicht findet ihr es zu wertvoll. Wie wäre es, wenn ich euch stattdessen nur einen Teil davon gebe?“ Dann reißt du ein Mini-Gummiband von dem gelben Gummiband ab und gibst es dem Publikum. Alles kann untersucht werden. Einfach zu machen. Das zweifarbige Gummiband wird mit einer speziellen Form hergestellt, nicht durch Verkleben.
