Mit dieser Lektion findet der Tarbell Course in Magic seinen Abschluss. Es geht um Marketing für Zauberkünstler, Promotion und Publicity, im Kern also letztlich darum, wie man es geschickt anstellt, sich und sein Können so zu vermarkten, dass sich die Zauberkunst auch in ökonomischer Hinsicht als lohnend erweist.
Auch wenn die Arbeitsmittel und -methoden in den vergangenen einhundert Jahren einem rasanten Wandel unterworfen waren, so sind doch die Hinweise, Tipps und Ratschläge, die Harlan Tarbell erteilt, zeitlos und nach wie vor aktuell.
Ein abschließender Abschnitt ist der seinerzeitigen Vermarktungsstrategie für den Tarbell Course selbst gewidmet. Im Anhang werden dann die Möglichkeiten des Marketings im digitalen Zeitalter kursorisch aufgezeigt. Und nach aller Theorie gibt es sogar noch ein paar interessante Kunststück-Beschreibungen aus Harlan Tarbells Praxis.
