Die Stille Behandlung ist eine der kultigsten Eröffnungsroutinen der Magie. Sie wurde schon von vielen Top-Magiern und Mentalisten auf der ganzen Welt vorgeführt. Als Jason Alexander einen Opener für seine Magic Castle-Nummer brauchte, wählte er natürlich The Silent Treatment.
Du kommst mit einem Satz gedruckter Seiten auf die Bühne. Die Nummer läuft so ab, dass du schweigst und die gedruckten Worte das Sprechen übernehmen. Jemand denkt an eine beliebige Spielkarte. Nach einer spielerischen Auseinandersetzung wird der Grund für dein Schweigen enthüllt. Du nimmst eine gefaltete Karte in den Mund und entpuppst dich als die Karte, an die du gedacht hast!
Im Laufe der Jahre gab es verschiedene Variationen, aber das hier ist der große Wurf... im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes! Jetzt kann jemand *jede* Karte benennen und die Routine eignet sich perfekt für Gesellschaftsshows bis hin zu Theatershows, wobei die gedruckten Seiten für alle sichtbar sind.
