In den letzten fünfzehn Jahren gab es ein Hilfsmittel, das bei Chris Rawlins' Auftritten immer dabei war, und das heißt „Reveal”.
Du lässt einen Teilnehmer irgendwas aufschreiben oder zeichnen, und in null Komma nichts weißt du genau, was es ist. „Reveal” braucht keine Elektronik und benutzt einen ganz normalen Stift, Umschlag und Klemmbrett.
Das ist Gedankenlesen unter Testbedingungen mit gewöhnlichen Gegenständen, die jeder Überprüfung standhalten. Es ist einfach durchzuführen und funktioniert sowohl für eine Person als auch für ein großes Publikum.
Bei vielen Methoden zum Spicken ist die Platzierung auf dem Blatt wichtig. Mit „Reveal” kann der Teilnehmer überall auf dem Papier schreiben oder zeichnen, und du siehst trotzdem jede Information.
Dieser Trick hat sich in den letzten fünfzehn Jahren stark weiterentwickelt, und diese Version wurde über Jahre hinweg in der Praxis verfeinert und perfektioniert.
