What starts as a simple three-card monte game takes a hard left turn when the money card disappears, only to reappear in your pocket. Anthony Owen has taken a classic of magic and updated it with some simple faux pas and clever thinking. Miracle Monte combines a classic gambling effect with a amazing transposition.
This happens as follows: three empty cards and a money card are presented to the audience. After the demonstration of the simple game "Find the Money Card", one of the empty cards is put open and fairly in the demonstrator's pocket. The money card is mixed under the remaining empty cards and what follows is a number of increasingly impossible transpositions that lead to the money card disappears completely and reappears in the pocket of the actor.
Anthony Owen was inspired by Andy Nyman, added some elements of Marc Paul and then his own brilliant idea to create a real cracker. Miracle Monte contains all the Gaffs that enable them to concentrate on the fun and create some serious reactions.
