Lade eine Person aus dem Publikum zu dir auf die Bühne ein und lass sie auf einem Stuhl Platz nehmen. Stülpe ihm vorsichtig eine glatte Röhre über den Kopf. Dann wirfst du ein brennendes Streichholz hinein: Sofort schlagen spektakuläre Flammen aus der Röhre und sorgen für einen Moment des Erstaunens und der Verwunderung.
Wenn du die kleine Luke an der Vorderseite der Röhre öffnest, kannst du die Teilnehmer/innen fragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist, ohne dass sie etwas von dem Effekt mitbekommen. Ihre Reaktion und die Situation werden für Gelächter und Erheiterung in der Menge sorgen.
Schließe die Luke und lege den Deckel auf die Röhre, um die Illusion abzuschließen: Die Flammen erlöschen sofort. Entferne die Röhre und befreie den Teilnehmer, der natürlich nicht zu Schaden gekommen ist. Der Beifall ist vorprogrammiert! Ein Video sagt mehr als tausend Worte!
