Ein dickes Stück Schnur wird gezeigt und über einer Kerze in Stücke zerbrochen. Diese Stücke werden dann zu einem Ball zusammengerollt, und wenn man sie auseinanderzieht, sieht man, dass sie sich wieder zu einem langen Stück Schnur zusammengefügt haben.
Die Schnur ist viel dicker, sodass sie auch auf den größten Bühnen gut zu sehen ist, ohne dass eine Videoprojektion oder spezielle Beleuchtung nötig ist.
