Each choice is accompanied by a strip of paper with random numbers printed on it. These can be freely examined by the audience who can keep their strips as a memento. The tension builds as one strip is returned to the magician who gives the spectator a completely free choice where to stop and cut it through it. The top number of the cut of piece is read out (as can be the numbers under it to verify a random selection).
As the suspense reaches its peak, as none of the spectator's ducks match the freely cut to number, yet you reveal that the lone duck you have kept is the exact match!
