Comedy Mummy ist eine neue Version einer klassischen Klapperkiste. Diesmal nicht nur mit einem neuen Design, das einen Sarkophag und eine Mumie im Inneren zeigt. Sie verfügt auch über ein neues automatisches System, bei dem sich das Bild der Mumie schnell von bandagiert zu Unterwäsche verändert, und das Unglaubliche daran ist, dass all dies in der Hand des Betrachters geschieht.
Bei der klassischen Klapperkiste war das Problem, dass der Witz, bei dem die Kiste komplett kaputt geht, größer war als der Zaubertrick, weshalb der Zaubertrick in den Hintergrund trat. In dieser neuen Version passiert das nicht, denn zusätzlich zum Gag mit der kaputten Kiste gibt es noch einen weiteren Gag mit der Mumie in Unterwäsche.
Nach einer Pause, in der alles schief geht, kommt der magische Moment, in dem der Zauberer langsam den Verband der Mumie, der bis zum Boden reicht, ausstreckt und an der Spitze des Verbandes schließlich eine vom Publikum ausgewählte Karte zum Vorschein kommt. Am Ende ist das gesamte Publikum überrascht.
„Comedy Mummy“ enthält eine bereits zusammengestellte und vorführbereite Routine mit zwei Gags und einem sehr originellen magischen Effekt, den niemand erwartet. Das Set eignet sich besonders für Comedy-Zauberei, Kartenzauberei, Kinderzauberei und Salonzauberei.
