When Bruce Cervon moved to Los Angeles to study at Dai Vernon, he began to make detailed notes about all the insider magic that the professor and others conveyed to him. He also led complete notes about his own original material, from which he kept a lot for professional use. For years and decades, his notebooks grew and while he eagerly guarded them and never allowed others more than a look, the legend of Cervon's castle notebooks grew under the elite of magic, and rightly so.

The material came from these notebooks, which filled five books by Cervon's own magic and three volumes of the Vernon chronicles. But that wasn't even the tip of the iceberg. The Castle Notebooks contain the material that Bruce had intended for future volumes about Vernon and itself, as well as extensive information about card fraud methods (much of which was passed on by Vernon), unpublished material that he had collected from many luminaries of magic art, and Bruce ' Own professional routines. The quantity and quality of this material is breathtaking and fills over 1500 notebook pages.

Bruce Cervons Castle Notebooks are a holy grail for students of close-up magic from the golden years of Magic Castle. In them, countless tricks, sleights and secrets are recorded, which were exclusively guarded by Cervon for many years and are still the most modern tricks ahead. With regard to Bruce 'wish that this information remains exclusive, his wife, Linda Lipps Cervon, publishes in collaboration with L&L Publishing Bruce Cervons Castle Notebooks in a faksimile set from hardcover books. Each page was scanned by the original handwritten notebooks.
