Kurt Volkmanns komplette Reihe „Geschichte der Zauberkunst“ wurde von Lori Pieper und Maxwell Pritchard vollständig ins Englische übersetzt. Volkmanns Artikel zur Geschichte der Zauberkunst werden von Steffen Taut als „die beste Gesamtuntersuchung zur Geschichte der Zauberei“ bezeichnet. Bei der Übersetzung von Volkmanns Werk hat Lori Pieper ihr umfangreiches sprachliches Wissen aus über einem Dutzend Sprachen in das Projekt eingebracht.
