As you claim to analyze their voice patterns to detect when they pick up the red ball, tension mounts with each white ball chosen.
When the participant finally lifts the red ball, the tension gives way to uproarious laughter as an alarm sound, startling them and causing the stand to vibrate. You've successfully identified The Oddest Ball.
If you want an additional twist revealing your true mind-reading powers, you can involve five volunteers. Use a net change bag for them to select slips of paper-one indicating 'Red' and the rest 'White.' After the initial fun, astound the audience by correctly predicting the person who chose the oddest ball.
