WILD 'WAVE - Teil Eight-Card Brainwave (mit zehn Karten). Teil Wild Card (rote Punktkarten verwandeln sich in einen Spade Royal Flush). Und, natürlich, Poker. Ein Rätsel in einem Mysterium, eingewickelt in ein Enigma - sozusagen.

WAS TUT SICH: Du zeigst ein kleines Päckchen mit Karten aus einem anderen Casino und erklärst, dass du von jedem Ort, den du besuchst, ein Andenken mitnehmen möchtest. Du legst die Karten verdeckt auf den Tisch und lässt deinen Zuschauer eine davon auswählen. Nachdem du die Karten, die er nicht gewählt hat, eingesammelt hast, zeigst du ihm, dass es sich um Karten mit niedrigem Wert und rotem Punkt handelt. Unglaublicherweise stellt sich heraus, dass die Karte, die sie (freiwillig) gewählt haben, die einzige schwarze Karte mit hohem Wert ist.

Um noch einen Schritt weiter zu gehen, teilst du die restlichen Karten aus und vervollständigst so ein Pokerblatt mit fünf Karten für deinen Zuschauer und für dich selbst. Als du dein Blatt umdrehst, stellt sich heraus, dass du unerklärlicherweise eine GERADE hast - ein Killerblatt beim Poker! Aber leider bedeutet das gar nichts, denn wenn er sein Blatt umdreht, kommt ein ROYAL FLUSH IN SPADES zum Vorschein!Alles ist überprüfbar - es gibt nichts zu verbergen.

Alles an Wild 'Wave ist typisch Bannon - er ringt einer Handvoll Karten mehrere Phasen schockierender Magie ab... und eliminiert fast ALLE Taschenspielertricks, die bei anderen ähnlichen Tricks verwendet werden... und endet völlig blitzsauber. Wenn du einen John Bannon-Pakettrick vorführst, weißt du, dass du die Ware ablieferst.
