Der Zauberer legt eine rote Karte in ein blaues Kartenspiel. Er bittet den Zuschauer, an eine Karte zu denken. Zur Überraschung aller ist es die Karte einer anderen Farbe.
Der Zauberer schlägt vor, das Erlebnis zu wiederholen, indem er sagt, dass dieser Trick „Die Andere “ heißt und dass der Zuschauer an die Andere denken soll. Er nimmt eine weitere blaue Karte und legt sie unter die roten Karten.
Der Zuschauer denkt an eine Karte, und der Zauberer nimmt sie aus dem Kartenspiel heraus. Zur Enttäuschung aller ist die Karte dieses Mal rot. Der Zauberer sagt, dass dies der Trick "Der Andere “ ist und zeigt, dass sich das gesamte Kartenspiel in Blau verwandelt hat.
