Lesson 36 very close - Close up
While in earlier times the magicians from a greater distance from the audience offer their miracles on stage, they are often very close to their viewers these days. Showing magic tricks in the small circle, close to the audience, maybe also sitting at the same table, has become a very usual situation. And woe to the magician who asked the reason to show something on the grounds that they have nothing to do with them.
A magician should therefore be able to show something practically at any time and anywhere and preferably with things that are there.
If you have a few pieces of paper and napkins, a match brief, a pen, a card game, a safety needle and a piece of cord, you are already well equipped with suitable props. How to captivate your audience explains to them Harlan Tarbell In this lesson based on 25 tricks, all of which can be shown in direct contact with their viewers. There are tricks from the repertoire as famous as Milbourne Christopher and Richard Himber. You learn among other things G.W. Hunter’s Puzzle nodes, which represents an absolute cult game and Joe Berg’s Paper napkins cereals, the trick technique of which can also be transferred to many other tricks.
