In lesson 34 the basic and general structure of a magic show is explained. How should a balanced show be designed? What does the mandatory opening number and the last act belong? What should be considered in the last number before the break? Which errors must be avoided?
All of these questions are answered using numerous examples from practice. Famous role models are presented and the reader gets the basics for the staging of a magic show that always holds the tension sheet for the audience.
This is then shown in lesson 35 how to make your audience laugh. Which situations, actions and events cause laughter? A psychology of laughter is developed and in turn underifies using many practical examples. Fundamental principles of yeast generation, such as creating unexpected situations, the misleading of expectations, constant repeating actually minor acts etc. are set-up for the inclusion of comedy elements in your own magic number.
