Jetzt, 40 Jahre später, kannst auch du die Freiheitsstatue vor einem Live-Publikum verschwinden lassen, indem du einen New York State Quarter von 2001 benutzt.
EFFEKT STATUE VERSCHWINDEN LASSEN:
Ein New Yorker Vierteldollar wird auf der Handfläche einer offenen Hand (oder auf einem Tisch) gezeigt, auf der die Statue steht. Der Darsteller hebt seine andere Hand in flacher, offener Position und bedeckt die Münze wie DC mit einem Vorhang.
Wenn die Hand weggezogen wird, ist der Statuenteil der Münze vollständig verschwunden. Sie kann zur vollständigen Untersuchung ausgeteilt werden. Die Münze wird dann wieder an den Darsteller übergeben und erneut mit der Hand bedeckt. Als die Hand wieder entfernt wird, erscheint die Statue auf wundersame Weise wieder, so wie sie verschwunden ist.
