The classic Stars of Magic finally available again in a new edition after years!

If you have not read and learned the magic contained in this book, you are not yet a full wizard. The magic of John Scarne, Dai Vernon, Bert Allerton, S. Leo Horowitz, Emil Jarrow, Francis Carlyle, Dr. Jacob Daley, Tony Slydini, Ross Bertram, Nate Leipzig and Max Malini shaped the art of close-up magic as we know it.

Contains: 41 incredible routines of 11 amazing artists, a historical introduction and a bonus section with private correspondence to the Stars of Magic.

Series 1, No. 1: John Scarnes classic ball routine:

The effect is a confusing series of magical phenomena and disappearance of small balls. Starting from a pinch of ashes from an ashtray, ball is mysterious, multiply, multiply and disappear. At the end of the routine, the balls become ash again.

Series 1, No. 2: John Scarnes triple coincidence:

Using two ordinary decks with differently designed backs, the viewer mixes a deck, while the actor mixes the other. At no time does the actor touch the spectator's deck. The viewer cuts his deck three times and exchanges a card with the actor. When both ligaments spread their decks, a miracle is accomplished - every time the viewer and the actor uncover one of the three foreign cards in their decks, the cards turn out to be the same - a triple knock -out at all. Both decks are on the table for testing.

Series 1, No. 3: John Scarnes silver and copper trick:

A silver coin in the viewer's hand magically changes with a copper coin in the hand of the actor. A nice penetration effect of the coin follows through the pocket. For many years, magicians had the impression that Scarne Gimmicked Coins used. Now Scarne shows that he does it with ordinary coins and gives them his exact method.

Series 2, No. 1: Dai Vernons Triumph:

Dai Vernon reveals one of his most amazing discoveries, an exquisite card miracle entitled "Triumph". It is a revolutionary trick that will be desired by every magician. It is an easy-to-make shuffle, equivalent to a pull-through shuffle, which is considered one of the most difficult of all gambling slides. Very few magicians are able to carry out a clean and deceptive pull because it takes years of constant practice and most of them have given up their effort in disgust. With the help of Dai Vernon's false shuffle, you can achieve the same result with very little practice. You will find that it is the perfect wrong shuffle to maintain the order of the red and blacks. Lovers of player tricks will also look forward to this trick, because the order of the entire game can be retained.

Series 2, No. 2: Dai Vernon's Cutting the Aces:

The four aces, which are distributed over the whole deck, are cut in a new and impressive way with scary accuracy. So far, only a few magicians have had the privilege of seeing this extraordinary routine, which produces one of the most entertaining improvisation effects in card magic. For the first time, Dai Vernon also reveals his own method of checking cards while cutting. This secret alone is an extremely valuable trick for which you can find numerous possible uses in the cards.

Series 2, No. 3: Dai Vernon's Spellbound:

Dai Vernon reveals a cherished routine that has been one of his favorite secrets for many years. The effect includes a number of remarkable and inexplicable changes from two coins of the same size, which have been shaped from different metals, such as half a dollar and an English penny. It uses a very old sled, which was originally used by English fraudsters at fairs and carnival. So far this routine has been guarded, and that's why it is practically unknown to the magical brotherhood. Although the effect seems to be extremely difficult, it will fascinate its simplicity.

Series 2, No. 4: Dai Vernon's kangaroo coins:

This is DAI Vernon's original method to put coins individually through a table in a glass. The sleds used in this effect look very natural and are easy to use. By adding excellent misleading and subtlety
