Das passiert folgendermaßen:
Du stellst einen Sitzplan für ein Flugzeug vor und legst ihn dann als Vorhersage beiseite, um später darauf zurückzukommen. Dann zeigst du dem Publikum einen Stapel Flugticketkarten und lässt ihm die freie Wahl unter den Flugtickets. Dann wird der Sitzplan auf dem Tisch aufgebaut und der einzige Sitzplatz, der im Sitzplan markiert ist, entspricht genau dem Sitzplatz auf dem Flugticket, das der Zuschauer ausgewählt hat.
Bei Middle Seat ist die Sitzplatzwahl völlig frei und die Vorhersage ist von Beginn des Tricks an sichtbar.
Der Trick hat ein lustiges Thema, mit dem sich jeder, der schon einmal mit einem Flugzeug geflogen ist, sofort identifizieren kann, und bietet gleichzeitig direkten und unkomplizierten Mentalismus. Middle Seat wird mit individuell bedruckten Karten geliefert, die die ganze Arbeit für dich erledigen.
Die Spielzüge sind einfach und für Zauberer aller Fähigkeitsstufen gut zu bewältigen. Das Beste daran ist, dass die Wahl des Zuschauers wirklich frei ist. Er kann sich wirklich jede der Karten aussuchen.
