Aber wie sind diese Prototypen entstanden?
Die Produktion einer großen Auflage mit Kaltfolie ist sowohl kostspielig als auch komplex. Bei dem Innocence-Rückendesign mit seinen unzähligen feinen Punkten war das Risiko von Unvollkommenheiten einfach zu hoch, um es auf die leichte Schulter zu nehmen.
Anstatt irgendetwas dem Zufall zu überlassen, hat Daniel Schneider eine kleine Prototyp-Serie erstellt, um rigoros zu testen, wie sein kompliziertes Design auf die Folie übertragen werden kann – um nichts weniger als Perfektion zu gewährleisten.
Jedes Kartenspiel ist unten mit „Prototype“ gekennzeichnet und somit ein seltenes Stück des Entstehungsprozesses – das aufgrund seiner Seltenheit und Herkunft von Sammlern sehr geschätzt wird.
