Mit dem System und den Routinen, die du in diesem Buch lernst, hat meine Tochter Camila in den frühen 2000er Jahren einen ihrer ersten Tricks für den großen Patrick Page vorgeführt. Sie war erst 6 Jahre alt, als Patrick mich ansah und sagte: „Sie hat mich reingelegt.“ Nach diesem unvergesslichen Nachmittag war mir klar, dass das System mit und ohne Locken in der Welt der Zauberei unbekannt war. Dank meines guten Freundes Alejandro Maneffa setzte ich es sofort nach seiner Entdeckung in die Praxis um und erzielte in den späten 90er Jahren außergewöhnliche Ergebnisse. Ein anderer großer Zauberkünstler, der großartige Gaby Pareras, lehrt diese Routine seinen Schülern als „den Trick, mit dem die Tochter von Tango Patrick Page zum Narren hielt“.
Nach 25 Jahren Beifall von Zuschauern auf der ganzen Welt habe ich mich entschlossen, dieses Buch zu veröffentlichen. Ich muss auch einen anderen großartigen Freund erwähnen, Tim Trono, der mich 2010 dazu ermutigte, ein Video darüber aufzunehmen, das wir „The Unmemorized deck“ nannten und das in den Zeiten, als die Magie noch in DVD-Boxen reiste, ein Bestseller war.
