Table magic right under your nose...

Table magicians perform the most unbelievable magic tricks with coins, cards, and whatever happens to be lying around. Alongside extremely clever props, the performer’s dexterity naturally comes into play to fool the audience mentally over the table... that’s why it’s called table magic | close-up magic – or is it?

Enchanting wonders before your eyes…

Rubber bands come untied, silk scarves disappear, dice explode, sponge balls travel, coins appear, pens penetrate banknotes, keys bend, thoughts are revealed, four aces are found, matches float, rings link, peas swap places under walnut shells, and on and on....

Here, you sit in the front row

Table magicians work on a small scale, usually for a rather small number of spectators. So anyone who arrives too late for the magic show, or sits too far away, could miss the little miracles! What the stage is to the illusionist, the table is to the table magician. The close-up surface is his territory, and that’s where the impossible happens.

The magician’s hands are his greatest asset

The magician would do well to keep his hands clean and well groomed, as they remain in the spotlight throughout the entire show. After all, an illusionist would not step onto the stage in a worn and dirty suit either, because then even the greatest illusions and best magic tricks would fade in the eyes of the audience.
