Superstar is a Dutch company, founded in 1947, that specializes in producing professional makeup of the highest quality for both amateurs and professionals. Originally starting out from a bakery, Superstar has grown into a professional makeup manufacturer that supplies worldwide.
From the first rolls of grease makeup, which were applied to the skin like markers, to the beautiful, colorful water-based makeup we use today; Superstar has been evolving for over seventy years and is one of the pioneers in professional makeup.
This is due in part to the important role Superstar played in the 1980s in the development of Aqua Face and Bodypaint—the water-based makeup we still produce today.
