Slipstream von Eric Stevens ist nicht nur einer der coolsten, einzigartigsten und praktischsten Tricks mit zerrissenen und wiederhergestellten Karten, sondern wird auch schnell zu einem festen Bestandteil des Repertoires vieler Zauberer.

Und so geht's: Eine Karte wird frei gewählt, aus dem Kartenspiel genommen und auf Wunsch vom Zuschauer signiert. Dann faltest du die Karte und reißt eine Ecke ab. Du erklärst, dass du die Karte wieder in ihren ursprünglichen Zustand zurückversetzen wirst, holst einen Mini-Hefter hervor und heftest die abgerissene Ecke wieder an die Karte, allerdings an einer ungewöhnlichen Stelle, nämlich in der Mitte der ausgewählten Karte. Nachdem du beide Seiten der Karte deutlich gezeigt hast, hältst du deine Hand über die geheftete Ecke und langsam wird die Ecke durch die Heftklammer hindurchgeführt und vollständig an die ursprüngliche Stelle der Karte zurückgebracht. Die Karte kann sofort ausgehändigt, untersucht und als einzigartiges Souvenir behalten werden. Obwohl die Heftklammer nach der Wiederherstellung der Karte in der Mitte der Karte verbleibt, sind die Löcher von der Heftklammer in der Ecke noch zu sehen!
